So, this week I wanted to share with you some fun Crochet Hat Patterns and Knitting Patterns from some of my favorite Indie Designers. Hats are fun for me to make since they usually work up pretty fast for quick gratification.
And, of course, a handmade knitted hat or beanie makes a great, personal Christmas gift!

How do you crochet a ribbed hat?
Ribbing is fairly easy to do. It just sounds complicated. With this pattern by Yvonne Metz, you crochet the ribs in a rectangle and then close the seam. It is a good beginner pattern!
